We've planned an exciting program for the 2007
Student Day. Student day begins with a grand
processional of students dressed in uniform in
to our main meeting room. Be prepared for
lots of photos, lots of fun and lots of learning.
After the grand processional the school competitions
begin. Each participating school will present
a student prepared project to the group.
A distinguished panel will judge the presentations.
Awards will be granted at the end of the day.
Each student participating in a presentation will
receive a certificate.
Students will also have the opportunity to compete
in a poster contest. NAPNES members will
judge the posters during the convention and winners
will be presented their awards during the student
day luncheon. Click
here to go to our Student Day downloads
page to obtain all the documents for both competitions.
At the end of the morning competition and educational
session, students and instructors are invited
to lunch. The student luncheon is one of
the highlights of every national convention.
During lunch, Linda M. Sands, President of DreamQuest
International will present her keynote program
"Achieving Your Dreams and Goals".
Ms. Sands' program is highly motivational and
helps people understand how to make dreams become
goals and how to achieve both. Based in
Melbourne, Florida, DreamQuest International has
presented this award winning program to students
from pre-school through college. The program
will leave you inspired and ready to complete
your training and achieve your dream and goal
to become a nurse.
During the afternoon session, students will have
an opportunity for great learning experiences
including:
- Professional Demeanor
- Documentation and the Legal Record
- Preparing for the NCLEX-PN
The schedule planned includes 6.5 contact hours.
