The NAPNES Department of Education is
an integral part of the NAPNES membership organization.
The Education Department reviews continuing education
programs for LP/VNs from across the country and approves
them for contact hours.
The Education Department Staff works with educators
and LP/VNs to set standards of professional practice
for LP/VNs and promotes the highest ethical standards
in the service of nursing by LP/VNs.
Anyone providing continuing education for LP/VNs should
start here at the NAPNES Education Department and use
the guidelines set forth for program approval. NAPNES
is the beneficiary of the multi-discipline membership
approach through the close alliance with P/VN Educators.
It is reflected in the high standards of the NAPNES
Education Department developed over the past 62 years
focusing on the education and practice of licensed practical/vocational
nurses. The registered nurses that have staffed and
served the NAPNES Department of Education provide the
"Education" component of the NAPNES name in
word as well as dedication.
Currently directed by Mrs. Margie Word, RN, the NAPNES
Department of Education stands ready to assist providers
of LP/VN continuing education. |
